Pollinator Partnership Canada

Pollinator Partnership Canada (P2C) is a registered charity dedicated to the protection and promotion of pollinators and their ecosystems through conservation, education, and research.   They have many fantastic educational resources and programs directed at individuals, communities, schools, businesses, and farmers with the shared goal to create and protect the habitats of these pollinators who are vital to our global food supply. Below you will find some of the great programs they offer.

A portion of every bag of coffee sold will be donated to P2C to help fund all of the amazing work they do.

Pollinator Steward Certification

An opportunity to learn practical science-based ways to help protect pollinators, create habitats, and educate others. A module based learning system covering a variety of interesting and informative topics. This certification program is offered only by Pollinator Partnership.

Bee Friendly Farming (BFF)

BFF helps farmers incorporate affordable, simple, science-based guidelines, like offering nutrition and habitats for bees, and integrated pest management strategies. Members of this program are an essential part of keeping our pollinators healthy and our food supply abundant.

Bees for Peace

A program that includes workshops and other activities aimed to promote the care of bees and other pollinating creatures on the grounds of houses of worship. Establishing blooming feeding areas in these locations allows these pollinator friendly feeding sites to form a “peace network” as bees, imagined as messengers of peace, visit the various houses of worship ultimately uniting disparate communities of faith through cross-pollination. A beautiful way to help local bee populations and unite communities.

Bee City Canada

The Bee City Canada program is a set of commitments that guides communities to create pollinator habitat. By becoming a designated Bee City, Bee School, Bee City Campus or Bee City Partner, members join a community of practitioners whose pollinator conservation efforts are recognized. There are currently 45 Bee Cities, 24 Bee Partners, 36 Bee Schools, and 13 Bee Campuses, and these numbers are growing as more communities and groups join the movement every week.
